"5 stars — an absolutely fantastic stay at the Surf House! From the moment I arrived I felt immediately welcomed by the friendly, helpful owners and volunteers. The booking process was effortless with quick replies, and check-in was very smooth. The hostel is perfectly located — just a 10-minute walk to the beach and a short stroll to supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés — ideal for surf days and nights out. The surf vibe really shines through. Rooms and common areas are clean and tidy, and the communal spaces are perfect for chilling, working, or socialising. The surf lessons were excellent — knowledgeable instructors, well organised, and suitable for all levels. Every evening, we were treated to traditional moroccan dinners made with love, which quickly became the heart of our stay. We finished every night together with Moroccan mint tea, sharing stories and enjoying the atmosphere. It made the whole experience feel so authentic and welcoming. Staff go above and beyond: always friendly, attentive, and quick to resolve any minor issues. Special thanks to the owners,Ilka and Abdou, who are always there whenever you need anything. A standout highlight was Ilkas Yoga Lessons—the best I’ve ever experienced. Her philosophy is focused on listening to your own body without pressure, and her kind, mindful way of treating everyone shows how much she truly values her guests. The community atmosphere is fantastic — group events like football-watch nights and movie nights made it easy to meet people and created memorable evenings.
